About Anna Nolan

Anna Nolan lives in sunny Gilbert, Arizona with her accountant-by-day-musician-by-night husband of 21 years, Shannon, four kids, and Luna, their lab mix fur baby. In 1998, Anna graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in English, course emphasis in Linguistics. She has professional experience with creative and technical writing and editing, including assisting undergraduate students in their college writing courses. She joined School Webmasters in July of 2013 as a content updater then moved to the social media department in 2015. Since then, she's been thrilled to have the opportunity to help bring the exciting, ever-changing world of social media to schools and districts near and far as social media director. From managing various platforms for schools and education organizations to training school personnel how to effectively manage their school social pages themselves, Anna strives to help fill Facebook, Instagram, and other useful platforms with happy, healthy school social pages that help make the World Wide Web a better place. In addition to the many hats she wears as a wife, mom, and social media manager/writer/editor extraordinaire, Anna enjoys singing and all things musical. She's active in her church's music and youth ministries, and she also loves reading and writing, traveling (even if it just means going out to dinner with her husband), trivia (the more trivial, the better), and watching silver screen movies.
